All attentions will be focused on this weekend’s crunch tie against Everton. Tim Howard, the Everton goalkeeper, thinks the game won’t decide who grabs 4th place and the final Champions League spot. I tend to think that this game is bigger than many think and Arsenal need to win this to at least go a long way to securing the all important CL qualification. I’m not sure why people think we’re still in the race for the title, I think since we dropped 7 points out of 9 in the last three games, we’re out of it.
Elsewhere, there’s been some banter about Arsenal and Tottenham having a groundshare. Obviously this is complete rubbish and an April Fools joke, but it had me fooled for about 20 seconds until I saw that the article came from the Express. Ironic!
Nothing else new today really, there has been a few mentions of Arsene Wenger receiving a massive transfer kitty in the summer to keep him at the club, but I suspect he might still be on his way.
Stan Kroenke is adamant that Wenger is the right man to lead the club forward for the next decade. I’m not sure if that’s going to change Wenger’s mind, even if the Frenchman has decided to leave, so really this is no revelation at all.
Tonight sees some Champions League games, let’s hope Manchester United slump out of their final chance for silverware after a massive defeat tonight.
That’s all for now.
Thanks for visiting.
